    Yeah, should be interesting.

Where I live, there are those HUGE powerline poles and the city made a "park" along the WHOLE stretch of it. Well, through/within the city. But yeah, I'm about a block away from that too as an option of places to hit and have detected along that stretch before as well. The only downside, whenever I'm in that location, while my body is getting HAMMERED by EMF, so is my detector and the sense needs to be turned down to the point of just being able to detect an inch or two down. Any higher on the sense and my detector is getting wrecked by the EMF. So, I don't detect along the powerlines that often.

Anyways, I'll post what I find in the yard.

    Post up what you find!

    Two thoughts regarding EMF:
1: If they are transmission lines, the operating utility more than likely shuts them down periodically for service, inspection, and repairs. If you were to determine when this occurs, you could prolly go in when the lines are de-energized and clean up. Food for thought.
2: Have you tried wearing a tin foil hat? :tinfoilhat: :notsure:

Yeah, it's those HUGE transmission lines. The types you see going along the desert terrains and up/over mountains.

I'll try to get info on the maintenance times. I didn't know that?

Btw, it is raining in good ol' "sunny" Southern California. I was hearing on the news not until this coming week??? :annoyed::frusty: It's really light, but raining enough to make it too wet to do any md'ing. :annoyed:

I want to get paid the big $$$ to tell people BS weather reports too??? :notsure::playball::laughing::laugh::rofl::rofl::rofl:

I'll use the foil I find during my finds.:rofl::rofl::rofl::D:p

Sometimes I get spooked under transmission lines on a nice day. During stormy weather it would be a whole other thing...

Soooooo, since it was raining yesterday AND this morning... by the time I got out of work and got home, it was pretty much a clear sky. Decided to hit the front yard before this damn weather changes its mind. o_O:annoyed::rofl::rofl::rofl:

From top to bottom, left to right:
Some sort of copper tubing about 3/8" tall
    1982, 1987, and 2002 (Memorials)
    1977 and 1988 (Jefferson nickels)
    IMG_20200210_174434697.jpg

Not bad for about a 30min hunt. Had to wrap it up because the sun was going down QUICK!!! :annoyed::goingcrazy::facepalm::laughing::laugh::rofl::rofl::rofl:

I gotta get my Sniper coil outta my storage. The yard has a fair amount of signals and it's harder with the coil size I currently have on for such a small area.

Yeah, apparently??? It's what I said to myself when I found the first find, which was the 2002... NOT a 2004.

But yeah, I was like, "holy SHI*???!!!":laughing::laugh::rofl::rofl::rofl:
