Saw that video a while back. I’ve never heard of anyone having that issues aside from that.

notice though that they have 2 batteries stacked in the factory location for a dual battery system.

similar to the one @VangaSTL just ordered

 

That windshield tho

 

Oil fill neck breaks off from contacting dual battery setup.

 

Plastic Oil filler tube breaks of at the base. Quick fix is to use the oil cap which threads into the original base.

also don’t have safelite replace your windshield. Go somewhere else.

 

Who's your go-to guys for windshields?

 

Any independent auto glass shop. I learned the hard way after safelite destroyed my truck replacing the rear window ($7500 in damage).

my next ones were done at cedar valley auto glass. Best place around here. Didn’t even know they existed before..

So far I've been quoted 1000-1200 for replacement due to TSS camera needing to be recalibrated. I drove my last truck for 6 years with a broken windshield so I'm not above doing that now hahah

That is one of my fears.... Wonder if they can just shut off all the tss nonsense and put a regular windshield in

 

Or just get insurance with glass coverage like @Tigerian did. It’s only a few extra bucks.

Just add it now. Windshield looks new to me!
