Was a comparison picture ever posted? I don't remember seeing one and that could seal the deal for me...

Yeah, I remain unconvinced of the rain/bad weather performance of HID's. I realize they are "twice" as bright but a lot of that light is in the spectrum that doesn't help you in the rain. If you can get a picture up to convince me otherwise I'd give it a try. In the few before/after shots I've seen on this forums the lights do look bright in the spot they are shining on, but every where else (background, off to the side, etc...), if you put the 2 photo's next to each other, you could see better from the old halogen light.

TRD mats and seat covers, smoked tail lights, smoked turn signal corners, Revtek lift, Access LE tonnaeu, HIDs, grillcraft mesh grill, TRD CAI, custom bike racks, Alpine system.
With the bixenon bulbs are both the highs and lows HID, or just the lows? I'd imagine if only the lows are HID you wouldn't need the use of highs because the lows are so much brighter anyway.

Not really. The lows have that cutoff which prevent significant amounts of light from going long distances. It protects the eyes of oncoming traffic.

Correct. And when the brights are turned on the cutoff is much higher allowing the light to carry further just like your halogens brighten up the road when the brights are on.

No me and socalman had scheduled that didn't work out for us to meet up. When I get home from work I'll post my before and after pictures to hopefully help you. Remember I have sold over 200 kits with everyone loving the new brightness.

Like I said above I have sold a ton of these kits and a lot of them are used in bad weather. I haven't heard any complaints with them in rain etc. But if your worried get the fogs in the 3000K temperature for extra help in bad weather.

Will you be doing any future group buys? I just don't think this is in the cards for me right now. I'll continue to consider it and read up on people's responses to them in case you do it again. Please people! Post pictures of before/after comparisons!!!!

I will probably do another in a little while. If I do one I will post a link to the thread in this GB so any subscribers will know of the next one. Probably a month or so. It just depends how busy I am.

They are the same as all my other Group Buys... My brother specifically told me to keep the hookup on the down low and not mention the brand. I don't want to go behind my brothers back and loose my connections. Here are some pictures of the factory.

Most are with the 6000K for both but on this GB some have gotten the 3000K for the fogs. If you are going to pull the trigger tomorrow be sure to make your payment tomorrow as well. I am placing the order on Friday morning and any orders that aren't paid for will be removed... Just an FYI. :)

I installed a set of blue tinted bulbs on one of my Hondas > and kept them for less than a month due to increase eye strain. Also, it made the yellow pavement markings harder to differentiate from the background asphalt.
I'm glad I don't live in Michigan any more, I can't imagine how bad it would be in a snow storm at night.

Don't buy them just because you think they look cool - get in a vehicle with that temp bulb at night sometime and see what you think.

Blue tinted bulbs aren't even comparable to xenons. I had some eBay blue bulbs in before my xenons and they don't even hold a candle to the xenons. They also burnt out within a month and had to go back to my stock bulbs. Ever since I switched to the HID's I will never go back. The xenons have much more clarity too.

When you guys take pictures of before after pics, please don't just take pictures with the camera looking into the bulb like most do. That tells us nothing. Take a picture looking down the road. That's what matters. I'd love to see a before/after in the rain shot looking down the road if someone was able to.
