I’m replacing my stock uca with tc uca, driver side was easy to do minimal interference but the passenger side is a different story. I believe it’s the airbag sense and an ac line that are in the way. Ac line was easy to detach and move to the side but the two bolts hold the airbag sensor just free spin. I was hoping there would be access to the back side of those bolts underneath it right above the windshield wiper fluid reservoir but there isn’t.

anyone else encounter this issue with those two bolts just free spinning?

This is underneath on the back side where I thought the back side of those two bolts would be

If you cant get those bolts out from the sensor your going to have to cut the UCA bolt and insert a new one from the opposite direction. I didn't have that issue though to idk whats going on there

Those are studs, not bolts. There's no bolt head to get to.

Shoot I’m assuming they’re stripped then because I can’t neither tighten them or loosen them. Just free spins.

Can you grab the head of the stud with vice grips while turning the nut? Any way to slide the Airbag sensor off of that bracket?

Stick a flat-head screwdriver in between the bracket and the fender...put pressure on the bracket while turning the bolt with a wrench. I had the same problem but it worked for me. Worth a try.

Take the 2 nuts off and spin it on the bottom bolt out of the way
If the studs are spinning grab the end of them with locking pliers and loosen them with an open end wrench

I tried holding onto the stud and then tried to undo the nut but after just cutting the nut off we found the stud had absolutely no threads left from when they were initially installed Im sure.

I secured it back to that little groove plate with a couple zip ties
