I have 4 runner and 2nd Gen Map + Domes getting tooled up as we speak. I was really focusing on 3rd gen stuff last year and I learned a lot. All the little tweaks will make for a better product going forward. I sourced a better led manufacturer, custom making my own PCB’s, dialed in the MESO plug adapters, incorporated a diode bridge(so you can hook the light up either way and it will work) plus a few other things. I am focusing on single color at the moment so red and white will hit first. After, I will revisit the dual color stuff. I promise I haven’t forgot about the 2nd genners

So my Meso Dome light has become inop, after a little more than a year or so. The LEDs come on very dimly, and only a few 'pixels' of them- not the full panel on either side. I tried to tap on it, to see if loose connection, etc. but it still doesn't illumninate.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I’ve been waiting for Meso to restock interior light options for the 2nd gens, feels like forever! I hope you get your dome lights fixed.

 

I PMd Meso and he said he’s working on a batch of new improved Gen2 domes. He offered to send me one when ready, but it won’t be until next month. I plan to put my OEM dome lamp back in until then- I cant do without an interior light.

 

Second season with mine. Was laid up for a few months last Winter but so far they have performed flawlessly. I’ve got the red dome & dual coloured maps. Gets powerful cold up here & if they were gonna fail, I’m sure they would have by now.

 

Looking forward to these coming back into stock... I need map and dome lights...

red and white dual dome would be interesting.....with black and gray options for the bezel. the white one in truck and red one i put in my mazda are both still working great.

 

Third time this week I've come out to this.

Any advice for keeping this light from popping out dome light housing?
