Uses an internet connection. So WiFi or cell connection. Your truck can be anywhere. You can also remotely "allow" people to drive it and allow access remotely from wherever.

Yeah I wouldn't be worried about it personally either. Just wanting to understand it a little more. I just gotta read about it. No biggie.

Okay so the service is like that onstar thing with GM. I get it now. My bad. It's very easy but I'm old. Thanks for being patient and not wrecking me:D

I'm not. That's what insurance is for. Haha. I feel the same way about it that @Shellshock does.

No biggie. Yeah it really is a lot like onstar. There is also a "SOS" button in the truck that works like Onstar does in GM.

Saw that. Was disappointed that their "big" announcement was the 4 cylinder model... LoL

Oh I didn't see the big announcement, but I thought it was the 40+ hp.
Yeah the turbo charged 4 cyl will help them sell a lot more Supras just on the price factor. We'll maybe not, guess we'll find out when sales numbers drop

i guess it has never bothered me, when the 79 Corolla hatch was in operation during the winter in the early 90s it had absolutely NO heat nor defrost/defog, just an electric strip on the back window worked to defrost that which was nice i could see out of the back window, the front was challenging scraping with CC and using tons of washer fluid to keep the windshield clean, also drove with the window partially down to prevent fog up which i would then just use a towel to clean the inside windshield as needed
    it was a great adventure

They are calling it the "swap" version. Because people forsee people buying them to swap 2JZ's into.

If we're gonna be straight up about it, I would've done the same. I love the stuff but I'm a cheap bast, that's all. I can see someone going for the value side of it and saving 6 grand and I can see someone really wanting that army green with the latest and greatest tech. That's what's awesome about this place, there's a spot for all of us here and our view points.... I didn't know you Midwesterners were alright until I followed GQ72 over here :D just kidding I already knew, my sister is in independence Kansas

Don't forget about the new LED head and foglights. They were worth the premium for sure.

I think so. I believe there were several shops who did. Most didn't though because they want to see how far they can take the OEM motor. I don't say stock because they are already working on a billet version of the BMW motor. LoL

If anything this deal was better for BMW owners than Toyota because the Supra aftermarket is jumping all-in on this new platform.
