    I agree here. If rev hang was a mechanical thing due solely to inertia and rotating Mass then i could handle it,. It would be predictable and consistent.

    The problem I have is the randomness. It's not just 1st to 2nd, i have more of an issue with 2nd to 3rd or 3rd to 4th. When I'm at 2800 rpm and it takes 3 seconds to get down to 1800 rpm it's a problem. It feels and sounds like the throttle is still applied when this happens, even though clutch is in and foot is off the pedal. Then the next time you try and compensate for it, the revs drop like a rock and you jerk the hell out of it.

    I think the 1 to 2 shift is made worse by gear ratio, 1st is short and 2 is kinda tall in comparison. I usually just run first gear to 2000 and shift that guy into 2nd and pretend 1st gear never existed.

    That's right, fall in line Mr. :D

    Do we have a general consensus on NOT holding up 2.0 for the sake of map switching?

    I mean, Mat has said the dev for this truck will likely go on for years, so just release that later!

    Thirded?

    We definitely do not need to postpone 2.0's release for map-switching functions. @OVTune I know you were trying to include it for us and all that and it's a nice gesture, but at least to us it simply isn't a priority and doesn't need to happen. Let that be a convenience update sometime later. Maybe this will help get 2.0 released sooner for at least us MT folk. I know the AT guys have a raging hard-on for both map switching and octane learning but we're significantly less needy.

    I'm not sure I still have a word to say here but...

    Yup, just release the tune as is, then in order of priority;

    -DFCO
    -OLE
    -Map Switching

    I also like Octane Learning better than map switching, I find it more useful, and it would help with those winter fuel which says 91 but you're not really sure about that lol.

    Map switching I only have to plug the laptop and 3 min later it's done...

    Ummm so ummmm my truck ya s developed a “fuck off and suck it” attitude towards getting into first gear from a stop (it’s always had a “fuck off and suck it” attitude when moving beyond uh mile per hour and trying to go into first). I’d say about 20% of the time I’m finding myself either needing to slide the stick into second, then up to first a couple of times in order to get my stick in, or just have to start in second. I have the accumulator delete mod, but I doubt that’s the culprit. I searched a single time and couldn’t find an answer I could trust. I’m thread hijacking to see if any other of you people experience or have addressed this. I’m not ready to contemplate a new clutch at 28,000 miles.

    Say it ain’t so.
    Happy Friday.
    Send pics.

    Mine does it on occasion and cycling the clutch sometimes fixes it. I think the solutions I have seen were all to change the fluid.
