Discount tire direct is who you work with on here. I bough a few sets from discount tire in jackson mi before i moved here. The last 6 years ive bought 5 sets from discount tire direct via the guy that runs the forum page on here.

Cool that’s prolly what I’ll try, unless my local tire shop buddy has a better hookup. I think I’m going mt it’s been awhile since I ran mt do they pull less or more in a hydroplane situation? I wish I could still get general grabber red letters those were my favorite tire so far.

Ok, I didn't know that there were more options in 17". I won't ever go bigger than a 33" tire anyway. I guess yall's answers will keep me at 17s! lol

there are 2 stores just opened in the HSV area. Seem to be some good prices. I'm getting the Milestar Patagonia M/T to go on my 18" wheels in the near future from DT.

I have roughly $700 in suspension (2nd gen though) and $1400 in wheels / tires but I am on 265’s, not 285’s. Lifted 3/2, didn’t have to do UCA’s after the lift so that saved a little coin and don’t have the cab mount chop or any rubbing but I’m also 2nd gen. Everything was bought brand new except for the add a leaf in the rear but I did buy all 4 shocks and the ride was 100x better than stock.

I like the way some of the SCS wheels look, don’t get me wrong but I couldn’t swing the price. Either way I like the way the MK6’s look and the stance in my opinion is about perfect.

Looked at that tire size but didnt want to buy new wheels as well as tires. Honestly happy i didnt for now. Maybe in the future ill step up a tire size. Truck performs well with the size i have now and zero clearance issues on and offroad.

I def would reccomend onboard air! I think its my Favrite mod to date!

I would also recommend getting one of these if you dont have one. I dont leave home without one in my car. Have used it on several occasions in the past.
