Buy the OEM kit. It's worth it.

Haven't heard of a three clicks option, i wired mine for two.. with the passenger doors. I had mine for a long while and had no issues with it. And it saw tens of thousands of miles of off-road.

They finally have an oem kit?

PK3B6-35JS0 for DCSB, says 2019 and up but others have used on 2016+. There's a couple of threads on it, install was pretty easy except for zip ties. Complete plug and play, zero splicing. Great kit, pics on the instructions could have been bigger.

I'm not sure a three click would work because doesn't the remote start look for anything past two?

It’s kinda odd to me that GA doesn’t issue paper titles anymore. I mean it makes sense as everything is electronic now. I just miss the days when ‘title in hand’ was literal.

Oh, and assuming my guess is correct, nice job  It’s a good feeling when a vehicle is paid off.

I suppose it could be a notification that they've received the title on the truck from the dealer. I paid off our van the day I bought the truck, but I already received that paper title (2013 MY).

    Pole poll:

    1) Truck title notification (in bank's possession)
    2) You have displeased us closing your second savings account
    3) Dealer processed refund of extended warranty and here's a check
    4) We fucked something else up
    5) You fucked something else up
    6) Glitter dicks

I know this is a long shot but anyone have a CB antenna tailgate mount they would want to sell? 2nd Gen. Around NE Atlanta. Thing is I have to have it today.
    Thanks!

Agreed, you can go to Home Depot and snag some brackets and fab one up with just bolts if you need it by today :notsure:

Google could be your friend in that design

Based on my past experience... #4

They fucked something up but they'll charge you to fix it and waste ~11 hours of your time on hold trying to fix it.

I love USAA. I probably pay slightly more for insurance, but between banking and that I think I've only ever been on the phone for like thirty minutes and most things I can do through chat. I'm leaning towards it being a check for the warranty, but I'm thrown off by it being so quick and the fact I figured they'd just put it toward the balance.

Honestly I'm not sure when GA switched to paperless titles, or if its MY/vehicle specific (which I doubt). We paid off my wifes MY16 Subaru in early 2018 with USAA and recieved a paper title. Whereas my MY17 Tacoma was paid off mid 2019 and I got the paperless title notification. That loan was through Delta Credit Union but I wouldn't think the lending agency would make any difference.

Not likely with USAA. In my experience, they are a ray of sunshine in the shitfest of insurance agencies. I couldn't be more pleased with every interaction and dealings I've had with them and their employees.

I'm in Athens area too now, and haven't had much luck finding anything open to the public. In college we used to go to a place off 441 somewhere but for the life of me I can't remember where. If you find anything definitely let me know.

Welp I just returned my (unopened) Pop N Lock and ordered the OEM... it’s $40 more but it’s plug and play, Toyota quality, and I read it’s way quieter. Promo MATCH at parts.toyota.com

My experience with Allstate was the complete opposite. Lied about coverage, then when i actually needed it they played games, admitted they lied on record, but no shits given about the little guy. Allstate nor state insurance commissioner cared that I had the agent admitting they led me wrong... And i paid. Not that I'm surprised. At the time it didn't seem worth it for a lawyer but I should've went that route.

What they lied about was i asked when the truck was still stock... Is there additional coverage i can buy for aftermarket stuff. They said only riders you can purchase is for stereo, anything else is covered and depreciated, keep receipts and it's covered. I asked more than once over the next year's as i added crap, giving examples and costs. usually when i was in to change address or update something since it was right by the house.

It could've been worse so that's the silver lining. But could have paid for another 2nd gen by now in what was lost. :notsure:

    I vote for option 6.

In all seriousness, I love USAA from a customer service standpoint, but not a cost perspective. I've been with them since I turned 16 and started getting out from under my parents. They are phenomenal and will own up to their mistakes. That said, we recently switched to another company because of the cost. I'm saving over $1k a year by switching away from them for home and auto. We went with another big name company and so far having a local agent to talk to has been pretty nice. I'm not regretting the decision to switch yet.

In the end, they are there to make money not help you out. When you file a claim, that's when you'll find out if it was worth it. Sometimes you'll win, sometimes you'll lose... Best bet is just donate to them for life and hope you never need to file a claim.

I had a mountain bike stolen out of my locked bike rack in 5 minutes of going inside, and that claim went good with my renter's policy. But then they dropped the ball the next time.
