When my wife and I first got together I bought her diamond earrings and a tennis bracelet. Discovered not long after that she really isn’t into flashy jewelry so haven’t seen either on her in years.
Feel like I scored cause she’s way more into experiences and memories than material stuff. Went all out for her wedding ring but that’s been it.
This trip, for instance, is a combo VDay, 10year Anniversary, combo birthday trip since both of our birthdays are coming up and we had our first date and 7 years later, got married on my birthday.
I feel like a lottery winner whenever I think of my wife!

 

Is there an "other side of the tracks" story buried somewhere in here?

 

That sucks! I also typically have mine serviced because, you know... time is money. I just wonder how many times I paid for something to be done and they didn't actually do it.

I'll talk someone's leg off about my 7 year old daughter reading at a "Level Q", even though I have no clue what that means. HAHAHAHAHA.

(Apparently, most high school kids dont read at a level Q, as the levels require not only being able to read the words, but apply them and know how to use them.)

I dont think she'll go the route of Wharton, but she will probably end up being some sort of closet genius in Paris or San Diego, with men down in the bottom of a well dropping lotion to them.

Hell, I would have been happy if my kid just stayed off the meth. Wharton is a bonus.

 

Same. I'm sick, so I was feeling particularly vulnerable and guilty last night. Asked mine if she was expecting flowers. She said, "No, I mean, I like flowers but not on Valentine's Day...that's too predictable."

Then, no shit she looks up from her phone, dead in my eyes and says, "Take me to the Mexican restaurant and get me some margaritas."


Done.

 

Bummer. We leave Thursday morning. If you ever find yourself in or around Prescott Az though look us up. We have some family in the SD area and love hanging out in Carlsbad. I’d happily toss a few back with a fellow TW’er any damn day!!!

 

Maybe the meth is why he did so well at Wharton.

My wife got the purple roses today although they don't look purple to me. But there are 6 of them, so I guess I'll send them a check.
