That's where I got mine, but I'm pretty sure WPs are a better value from a price perspective.

Anyone in here know (with proof) if 2nd Gen TPMS will work on a 3rd Gen? I have a friend with a programming tool too.

Search yielded no results....no rub cheap SL options for a 17’ 2wd TRD Sport 17” rim recommendations...the goal being any additional height out side of a full on lift.

Dumb question... Just starting to get into all of the different information on wheels and sizing. How does a skinny tire fit on a stock wheel?

No, I live in northern Maryland now. I just went to VT for college...Graduated in 2014.

I know really well... I guess I am just asking the logistics of how a skinnier tire fits onto a wheel without having to change the wheel width that the tire sits on. Not sure if I am making any sense here. I guess the important thing to note is that a skinny tire doesn't need a special wheel to fit it.

No they dint really not anymore than any other tire. The best suggestion is look the tire you want up and in a description it will suggest recommend wheel width range. If you want to off-road and air down tires the more narrow wheel the better as the bead on the tire will hold much better. You should be able to look up your stock wheel specs either in the owners manual or at the least call a dealer

    Hi Travis,
It's best to pair the tire with the recommended wheel width as Chris said.

For two main reason, [copied directly from the internet] one, a rim that is too narrow in relation to the tire width will allow the tire to distort excessively sideways under fast cornering. On the other hand, unduly wide rims on an ordinary car tend to give rather a harsh ride because the sidewalls have not got enough curvature to make them flex over bumps and potholes.

I've also heard people say that too narrow or two wide and the bead won't seat effectively.
