If you have a problem with the beta software, the way to get it fixed in the released version is to tell the developer. Maybe they've already seen the same issue with the same year/version/setup and they've got a fix or are working on a fix. If they haven't, now they know there is something else that needs to go into the final release.

It’s just as important to not feed the crusaders as it is to not feed the trolls. I struggle with which one is worse.

I would guess no on the catless dump tube tune for your truck, it takes advantage of the loss of restrictions in the stock dump tubes so your better flow downstream most likely wouldn't work well.

If you get the new gears before the final tunes are released, I'm sure someone on here has a copy of the 5.29 tune they could share

Ive asked for the 5.29 tune and no shares so far that I’ve seen. I have the same setup and tsb and would love to run the 2.0 beta 5.29 until the official is released. Anyone out there willing to share it?

I visited OV page and the only 2.0 I see there strictly says beta only.

So, the final/official 2.0 is not available? Beta only? Or have I missed something?

I wouldn't say it's coming soon, but it is in work. No specific ETC yet.

Where can I find info on the new features of 2.0? Or even simple instructions on how gear lock works. I thought I read something about being able to use the crawl control knob for changing tunes, is that still possible? This thread is out of control confusing and the website is nearly is bad.

We dont know how its going to work in the release. Hes still working on it. I believe in the beta its triggered with the ECT but I could be wrong so someone else may tell you otherwise and be correct.

I had my truck surge so bad today i couldnt back up at work to get out of the parking spot. Had to apply the brakes to keep it from jumping. Then put it in D and it went forward fine. 04A61 2018 91 4.88 2.0 decatted beta

If any of you guys who have this problem can log it I can see some data behind it. I don't know what the cause is.
I've personally seen it happen on my truck happen right after filling up the tank a few times.

It is odd, we seem to have a cycle where we release a new tune, or beta, and after a few months released issues slowly creep up over time. Some trucks start misfiring again, idle issues again,

Yep, still sold out and no orders available now. Looks like I'll be missing the rebate waiting for the new HH to come in stock.

So to follow up, all seem to be 2018 trucks, varied between 2.0 beta and 1.05

    Right?

    Anyone with a 2019? 2020?

I'll dig into idle code and see if Toyota sneaked something in on 19/20s

Because I know from personal experience it happens on 16/17s

My 2018 does it too, stock, 2.0, 1.05. I read somewhere on this forum it’s normal, and it has something to do with keeping certain components lubed, (air conditioning, etc)....? But I read it on here, so take it for what it’s worth.
