On that note, I've heard most land in TX is owned and there aren't a lot of places to just go cruise without paying. Is that true? Always loved just turning off the highway and finding my own way. On the drive here I spent 350 miles off pavement in AZ. It was a blast. Hope to find some of that.

Man, I'm really not the best person to ask so I hope others will chime in. I will tentatively say no, it's not like that here.

I just hit the mall in my rig and when the homies want to go offroad I just stay on park roads.

There are countless unmaintained country roads folks have made into loops. Worth checking the files section of Texas Overland on the face books

I love a good truck yeet every once in a while. Been a while since I gave the Foxs a good workout. Just to jump it all the time at Tech

One of my favorite memories of all time was going 85mph down Matagorta on an abandoned day

Driving down the 40 between Kingman and Flagstaff, there is pretty much a dirt road that parallels the entire drive. Was a blast to try to outpace some cars on the highway. But I was on a 24 hour road trip alone so I tried to keep it relatively tame haha.

Bought the kings and the shock relo for a reason though...

Damn that UPS. Report em to the Better Business Bureau.
I did that ATT and they made em give me a bunch of free channels for a year and $300 in visa visa cards because they bait and switched me.

True. Gotta go west along the border. That's the biggest public land in the state. I'd like to go explore it some time.
