Reminds me of a color that Mini Cooper offered a while back. I like it. Wish I could afford a set for mine. I got a black truck so this set would look lovely with the black.

I had mine done recently too. Went with the dark brown (Coffee). John from affordableleather.com got me the kit for $830 and it was $500 for the install. Love the color. I'll get better pics when I have the shift/e-brake boots and steering wheel done. John is getting me a piece of the Katzkin leather I'm going to send to readlinegoods to make them for me. The leather with the brown Weathertecs and dash mat and I think I'm done with my conversion from light grey to dark brown.

I like the leather but fitment does not look right. I was at my local dealership the other day at they had a Super White TRD Sport in the showroom with red Katzkin leather and the fitment was nice and tight. Looked like factory leather.

It is always best to ask the dealer who is their installer. They do these cars day in and out and know all the tricks, IMO.

It looks very well done, as I would expect - but IMO it looks a bit TOO good, or high end. Like it looks out of place. Personally, I think I'd go with a simpler design.

They almost look like they belong in a Maserati or something. haha

Looks like the interior of the Nissan Titan Platinum Reserve.

that's a good deal IMO. Katzkin wanted $1,750 plus tax for the "normal" black leather seat. I wonder why the difference.

Thanks. Do you feel you're sitting lower/higher/same? I am also thinking about this, but don't want to lose headroom. It's a tight fit for me already w/o moonroof.

About the same height I think, although I do have the spacers installed in the rear. Seats def feel softer tho, prob from the quilting.

Not the best picture but gives you an idea of the fitment I saw.

Yep, that does look tighter. Some of the spots have tightened up over the past week, but pass seat may need some professional tightening. I had my previous truck done w/Katzkins a few years ago and it was a bit tighter.

Looks great. I've always been a fan of that tobacco color. Sings to my soul. I had Katskins put in my wife's Hyundai Tucson and am glad I did. The padding they add to the covers made it comfortable where the stock seats were hard.

Exactly what I was thinking except in a BMW they would probably fit a little better. That passenger side has some nasty wrinkles. It will be interesting to see how they hold up in the Flo-ride-uh heat.

The wrinkles should lay out after a couple of weeks. At least they did in my 16. Great product.

Few ways to fix the fit.

Let them sit, odds are they will tighten up in the summer, at least a little.

Upholsters use a steamer with a hose attached to the steam head, it goes under the material, to expand the foam right before they pull it over. You can do something similar with one of the hand held clothes steamer. Just do it over the leather, maybe use a towel in between just in case the steamer sputters any discolored water out.

Cut the hog rings and pull tighter, then re-hog ring the covers.

Lastly- you can use a damp rag, only damp enough to get the leather just a little wet, then let it sit in the sun.

Any of those options would work, some easier or more effective then others.

    - Grew up helping the old man in his upholstery shop throughout Jr high and HS, he’s had a shop for almost 45 years.
