    "mod the crap outta mine"

Means "I'll never pay my parents back and I'll waste a $hit load of money on my truck that I'll never get back, just so I can look cool but I'm really f^&%ing my truck up".

    Is what that means.

You should get through school first, get a job, THEN buy a truck with your own money and F*** IT UP.

I never did understand parents that did that. And I am a parent that DIDN'T do that. My kids drove a 10 yr old honda and a 12 yr old subaru.

    just sayin.

Looks a lot better without the body lift IMO. It does look like you'd want a ladder rather then steps to get in it. :)

    lol

good point, but, what if you need a truck while still in school?

My parents bought me my truck, and then I paid for half of it. I paid for my half if less than a year. After getting the truck I got a real job, so that I could pay for it etc.

Just because someone 'mods' there truck doesn't mean they're "f^*%ing" it up. Don't tell people what they SHOULD do or what their parents SHOULD have done just because you weren't in the financial position to give your kids a $30,000 first car. Let's face it, if money was NO object, then you would have given your kids whatever made them happy, and if what makes someone happy is modding a truck then why try to tell someone it's wrong? So while your kids drive around their subaru/honda (which may be what they want), leave the kid alone and let him drive what he wants.

    just sayin.

No, at drifter... you just snuck another post in while I was typing haha.
But I guess it applies to you. I'm not gonna start a fight about it though. I'm glad you at least appreciate it, unlike many kids I know that bitch about their cars being the wrong color or not cute or some other bull

We don't have many young members on here that fit the category of being spoiled. I can say without a doubt that if when the time comes to get my daughter her first vehicle I, if money permits would purchase a good safe vehicle. Most likely she will end up with something I have built. Seems she may get a 40 year old clunker (chevelle.)
