    Primarily they provide more depth.
    They also provide greater coverage which, in theory, improves detecting efficiency.

    The reasons why I said in an older post about it always being a good idea for having different types of coils. :thumbsup::fistbump:

    Sniper type coils and/or similar, for example, are good for super trashy areas, but covering aLOT of ground is harder to do.

    The ones I recover from the beach are usually in bad shape. Salt does a number on them.

    Yeah, I'll post up some more finds from the beach soon. Not only that, the time change is about two weeks from now and I'll have more time to MD after work.

    Right now, the sun goes down too fast and just no quality time to do any real MD'ing.

    But yeah, they get HAMMERED!!!

    Ive tossed lots of stuff, got rid of bunch of shop tools, 2 atv trailer loads of trash from shop and one from the house..wtf!. We a getting the upper hand on it now. Moving the boat, camper and atv south soon..

    In my experience the appraisal usually comes in right around where it needs to be. Everybody involved wants those numbers to come in.

    yeah thats what we are hoping too..cant be awful since a squater house sold recently. Its in bad shape..sold for around $242K ours is much nicer and lots newer
