Been married for almost 13 years now and never get wife anything for Valentine’s Day. Told her long ago when we met I’m not sentimental and if she ever wants anything I’ll get it for her that day.

Well finally got in touch with the discount tire direct vendor here and will be ordering this wheel and tire combo but gun metal wheels. Really like the ray 10’s by far more but the mk6 isn’t bad looking by any means and they offer gunmetal color which I like most for my truck. He quoted me on a set of 5 mounted and balanced and shipped to my home with tpms sensors and lugs for just over 1800 but going to only purchase 4 for now. Always grab a spare later.

Also have a message in to headstrong to get a suspension setup in the works. Unless someone else has a better alternative but I’ve heard good reviews from that company so no worries either way. Just know that I don’t want to spend an ungodly amount on something like Kings yet I also want decent ride quality on pavement as my truck sees that more than dirt. Also need something that can allow me to haul 5000-6000 pound loads over 1000 miles as there are times when I do and surely don’t want something that can’t handle that.

Hope to get some info soon and make the purchase this weekend so maybe I can possibly have everything installed next weekend. Be an interesting first time install :)

17’s -12 offset. Same tire you posted. Tread looks good hopefully the tire will last a moderate amount of time.

Whenever they’re here and I can install them I’ll take some pics. Guy hasn’t messaged me back yet but tires are readily available but the wheels have to be ordered and could be few weeks before they’re here. Well see though. Also gotta get suspension on order whenever headstrong messages me back. Hopefully I can install it all myself without much issue. Also hope I can do it in one day because I’ll take it to work and install there in the warm and dry :). Then just have to drive somewhere to have it aligned.

Oh and tire size thinking of going 285/75/17 but not 100% on that decision yet. If not I’ll get 295/70/17

I can fix rub easily. If it rubs on plastic or pinch weld that’s a simple fix. If it rubs cab mount I’ll fix that also. Have welders and torches and metal at work won’t be an issue but won’t do it that day. Gonna get adjustable UCAs to allow the wheel to be pushed forward. If fenders need to be cut that’s no issue either.
