So the touch up soldering didn't work... Pops kept the pc so he could "play" with it a little more and see what he can figure out.

Might need a new LED light...

 

So looks like the switch needed a new LED after all.

Got the bulbs (https://www.ebay.com/itm/10-x-LED-P...-LEDs-Super-Ultra-Bright-PLCC-2-/151427049883), and dropped off the switch at my pops house yesterday, on my lunch break.

Pops literally just called me, said he fixed it, and according to him it's working fine since he tested it with his meter. Gonna swing by after work and grab it, then plug it in to test it out for real.

On a side note, my stupid ass didn't pay attention and I ordered 3 of those lights, so... LOL. Now I have 29 little LED lights.

I don't remember what i used to glue the ring to the trim pc. What did you use to do yours?

 

Just a small dab of epoxy

 

Anything/brand you personally recommend? Something like JB Weld?!

 

Thats what I used. Just a small amount though so it doesnt push out

 

Gotcha. I think I may still have some left from last time, because I think that's what I used as well.

Have to try and touch up the ring a bit first, and then slap it all back on.
