Everything Ive read points to needing a passport these days. Gotta remember a lot of immigration laws have changed lately haha.

Even the US state dept website says you need a passport to be stamped at the border.
    https://www.uspassporthelpguide.com/passport-for-niagara-falls/

    No passport for minors.

Yeah you must have a passport now or if you're in Washington State you can get a special enhanced driver's license for entering Canada and Mexico.

I think I could get one too. But for the same amount of hassle I could go downtown or online and apply for a passport thats good anywhere. And the line of work I want to switch to soon will want me to have one anyways. May as well get one.

I have a virtual machine with it preinstalled, same with Nistune (although it runs okay on win 10), R4, and Nissan FAST

The virtual machine is just so I can use whatever computer I want (can move it around) and so it is using 32bit Windows XP which has the most compatibility

I'm installing it on a Win 7 64 bit machine. I should create a 32 bit XP VM. I think Nissan Data Scan and Nistune have some similarities. They kick ass.

I installed it on my gaming computer running Win10 and it seemed to work fine when I was poking around. Of course I am waiting for the diag tool to interface with the 4runner and will find out for sure then. What version of Techstream have you been running? I've only grabbed a couple older versions that I found on the interwebs so far.

I'll have to go look, it's from 2015 I know that much. I hardly find myself working on Toyotas newer than 08 anyway

Well, the 4runner is an 03 so hopefully I won't have issues with the older versions then.

I downloaded V14.20 from tonered's signature line in the post below. Installation instructions seem easier than most.

The Mini VCI J2534 is showing up on COM3 with no errors. I took the laptop downstairs to connect and received an error 29 about needing a network connection. Then the laptop battery died. I'll try again tomorrow morning. I use this laptop like a desktop -- so it rarely moves away from the docking station.

I need to run TSS to check the AHC pressures and for adjusting the torsion bars and height sensors. I would like to disable the automatic tilt and telescopic steering wheel that retracts when the key is removed.
