That's what I keep hearing from all the shops that I've talked to. I'm just looking for different recommendations before I just hand my truck over to a random shop and I get screwed over

 

I may have to look at that rack. On Mobtown's website it didn't show the side mounts.

Is there somekinda rack mounted on top?

 

Yeah it’s the same cross bars that prinsu uses. The extruded 80/20 aluminum bars and sits flush with prinsu racks. You can see them here.

 

Fit over a Best Top also?

 

That we have yet to confirm. I would guess yes, but don’t know for sure until we get someone in the shop with one.

Latest communication was their guy saying he was waiting on pics of the damage so he could file the warranty claim... the same fucking pics I emailed to him on Monday when he asked. Shady AF.

 

So i could have told you hightech has went substantially downhill since joe left. He was the one that was good with these sort of things.

 

It's a shit show over there now.

 

After hours if wire tracing my buddy, the owner of jl tire and auto, found a broken wire due to the viper install which was throwing the computer into a fit. Showed as an 02 sensor issue first, but then as an immobilizer type issue. Just glad its fixed.

The check engine light will likely be back on tomorrow - has something to do with whats in this box...
