You know, I've never been clear as to what this whole "OVTUNE" thing is? What are you actually buying? Is it just software and what does it do?

Best to just go to the OV website to see what they sell. Gonna buy a MT?

It’s the software that runs the truck. It’s modified to improve the driving experience from what garbage toyota provided from the factory

    Canada Eh!
It was specifically to ditch map switching alone.
I think most of us would put a higher value on OLE.

Mine does this when it's cold, 30F or below. What helps is a little love tap onthe throttle while applying pressure on the shifter. I changed over to Motorcraft fluid, but not much change. But, only have 12,000 miles

The worst that makes me cringe is the 1st gear grinds offroading in 4low.. Bah..

I always thought my clutch felt funky since new, along with creeks and clicks when it's hot. Maybe we both need the TSB update done?

I had the TSB for the creak about 15k ago...it’s been quiet since even though I’ve heard others say it comes back. Mine hasn’t. My 1st gear issue is fairly recent, but definitely post ADM and ATM.

Did they just grease the assembly or were all the parts replaced? I thought I saw a TSB around here that replaces clutch pedal and master cylinder.

I never had a TSB done. Just lube it up. Mine started squeaking at like 30k. I think i’ve lubed it 2x now.

replaced all that shit. There’s what feels like a slight...maybe 1/2 of an inch extra at the top before the clutch starts to engage, that’s the only difference I noticed besides the squeak being gone.
    I’m really high.

Fluid should fix it, did on mine

AMSOIL MT fluid. Once at 40k and once at 90k. It’s like a 10 minute job.

I just had a thought that there were possible issues with the master cylinder. I won't even bother with the TSB then. Even having multiple different lubes to try in my shop, I'm just to lazy and actually like the creek lol

Do you have any pics of the job? I’m assuming you did it in the summer, in that skimpy little tank top you have...

I just did it in the fall before it got too cold.

    Remove the fill plug
    Remove the drain plug
    Install the drain plug
Fill with approximately 3 qt trans fluid (it’ll run out the fill hole when filled to spec)
    Install fill plug

    Done.
