I've been toying with the idea of adding a camper shell. I have the HS 3 leaf AAL in the rear and left in the overload spring. Currently have 2" of lift in the rear. Would adding a camper shell change that much?
Also if ya'll ever run across a MGM long bed shell for an access or regular cab in the $500 range, let me know.

 

I have the same suspension setup (with OME Nitrochargers) and I’m about to upgrade the leaf pack. Just need to find a sale first.

ACLB & DCLB shell will be different from RCLB.

All kidding aside it sucks not being close to family members when they battle health issues.

Yup. The back of the cab on an ACLB & DCLB are different than the cab of a RCLB. While the beds are the same, where the shell and the cab meet are different.

 

Ok cool. Good to know. most shells I see are for DCSB. Or I can get one of those generic metal shells (probably lighter too) and paint it to match.

 

Will pray for speedy recovery. Hopefully he will be good to go since he made it to the hospital.

 

It will fit but the lines just don’t match up at all. But if stuff like doesn’t bother you then you could still get one. Most people just like the lines to match up.

 

Thanks guys . I'm hoping he gets better to but I doubt he will not with early stage 5 MS and he has a bad heart on top of that .

Thats exactly my fear when something eventually happens to my Grandmother or Parents in Ohio.
I try and visit 4-5 times a year but even Ohio is a haul at my age.
