What makes this more solid of a mount vs a regular winch bumper?
How does it compare in a collision vs ARB

Is the $475 shipped the out the door total? Or is tax dependent on the state/county being purchased from?
    Counting my change jar now...

Too bad this group buy wasn't available last week! I just received and installed mine on Tuesday. What a great product! If anyone is on the fence about it, I 100% recommend jumping on board! From opening the box with a bare steel bumper to completely installed, it only took me 4 hours to finish. I didn't even require a second set of hands.
I wish I had a better photo to share with you all, but the wether just hasn't been cooperative this week.

The regular price for me is $525 plus $60 to ship to GA. The group buy is $475 shipped. Taxes I'm unsure about. I think that may be dependent on your state but not sure.

It's not about it being 'more solid'. The main purpose of our winch mount is... to mount a winch, provide two good recovery points, light mounts and some protection... all at 63lbs which is about 1/4 of an ARB. No aftermarket bumpers are crash tested in the USA. ARB is because the Aussie government mandates it. We have had several customers in various Tacomas and FJ's have wrecks, air bags deployed normally and are controlled by deceleration sensors by your center console, not be impact sensors like they were when the first came out.

They are built to take a serious beating, we have customers on every single continent and use and abuse them. After selling thousands of these we have never had one single failure, not one. (yes, I'm knocking on wood) :)

$475 shipped means just that...shipped via Ground to the lower 48 states. Taxes are only collected if you live in Texas.

I have several customers with superchargers, just move the pump up a few inches to clear the winch... or, like I did on my supercharged FJ, moved it to the engine compartment.

As stated above "ANY Tacoma winch mount will be $475 shipped to the lower 48 states via UPS or FedEx Ground" If you want to pay some shipping costs I'll certainly charge ya for it... :)
