Not quite. The issue is Federal Government...

No NPS or BLM here just NFS and lot of it. Millions of acres in Superior alone. The State has no problems don't run the ditches you ruin habitat for wildlife and stay on the roads. But the Federal Government breaks it down to Class 1 less than 50" and Class 2 50-65". They block access on a lot of National Forest Roads the State does not. And if you are running locked in a UTV all the time instead of turf mode you are going to be replacing shit. Fast.

Some Federal trails are limited to Class 2 or less. And then here comes some damn jeep with a hi-lift strapped across the hood at you making the trail wider then it should be and more ruts and water damage from run off. Stupid mother phuckers....

In Washington State in the Olympics and Cascades during the 70's there were no UTV's or SxS's but lots of gates on the fire roads. And always someone would have to clear trees and rocks out of the way to get around them with their rigs. Stupid mother phuckers have been around a long time...

    Pretty much nailed it. Again.

Same here -17 this morning but already up to 10 above and climbing. About that snow on Monday though, could do with out it!

Why off road vehicles and 4x4's have a bad reputation

All around the Country. Dog did put up a ruff right after I took this picture. And I was holding the cell phone without reception instead of a shotgun LOL.

I always look for an escape route. In a ditch, driveway, sidewalk, etc.
When I stop I always leave “go around space”

    Morning

    -3° to start this day.
Found out there is repair work with my name on it today.
That would not be a problem except I didn’t work on it, diagnose it, or
    order the parts.
So I have no clue what it is except it’s electrical.

Yesterday I had to do the Forman’s job and help another tech do a camera recalibration
While Mr Forman sat on his ass.
So I ended up doing most of it.
So I lost the time on that recal cause I sure as hell wasn’t going to ask for the time for this poor guy that was so confused and the Forman didn’t feel like doing his job.I lost time on the job I was doing and because I was slow getting that done, I missed a couple of good jobs that I could have gotten if I was ready.
So I figure I lost about 3 hours yesterday.
    But that’s ok.
I’m suppose to work for free.

Gonna mount my shovel today. Trip to Big Bend starting next weekend. Hopefully I don't have to use it. Don't want to develop any callouses on my delicate hands.
