If you don’t mind me asking.... how much did you pay (parts + labor) to swap out all of the door handles? ....or did you do the install yourself? Thanks!

 

Parts were bought from Bosh Toyota online. Labor was myself. They are all super easy to swap.

On the door handles, are you able to separate the chrome from the painted part? I have sky silver and would need to have them color matched.

 

How difficult was it to remove the back door handles? I’m a little reserved but I know the fronts are easy.

 

Required going into the door. Dropping the latch to gain access to the rear cap fastener. Super easy if you wrench regularly. Not really hard even if you don't. Torque bit (star) required. Believe the caps are standard hex cap bolts.

There was a thread in the 2nd gen forum. Pretty much the same process. Remove the door cards with a screw behind the door release, screw under the felt in the door pull hole and give them a decent yank to release the spring clips. Slowly pull off the vapor barrier to reapply later. Undo the three torque bit screws holding the latch, drop the latch down to access the outside door cap screw, remove that and then reassemble. If that's all you're doing 15 minutes per door.

 

Are the chrome levels still for sale?

Shipping to Canada kills it. It's not worth it to me even at my asking price shipped to go over the boarder.
