Anyone from the Pennsylvania area in Bucks or Montgomery County here , that know of a good Toyota Tech ? I'm always suspicious of some of these Dealers and the Service they offer.
But if anyone can direct me to a good Toyota dealer , I would appreciate it.

I'm also looking for help in finding a good 4x4 shop to do some builds.

I like Team Toyota in Langhorne. They did my frame swap.
That said we do most of our own shit nowadays...

As for 4x4 shops, that's a crap shoot. Again, we do mod days and a lot of our own work when it comes to mods.

i dont know exactly what kind of work youre looking to get done but here's what i can tell you. we have a shop here in NY and i've worked at few other shops and i learned a few things. first, just because its a dealer doesnt mean they know what they're doing. we have done a lot of work for dealers because their guys couldnt do it. also dealers dont always hire the most experienced workers. remember the dealer is there to make money, the more experience someone has the more they have to pay them so they usually hire one or two experienced guys and a bunch of semi-retards. so its not always the same guy working on your truck. as a rule of thumb i only go to dealer for warranty work, thats it. fuck the free oil changes and all that. for eveything else your best option is to find a private family owned mechanic shop and become a regular there. typically those shops survive on loyal customers which means they have to provide quality service. and smaller shops only have a few experienced guys with maybe one young kid to do all the bitch work. this way you get the most consistent quality. also someone does not need to be a toyota tech to work on our trucks, a good shop should have no problem doing any maintenance or aftermarket work

I work across the street from a Toyota dealer and yet won't go to a dealer. They tried to rip me off telling me I needed a water pump when I didn't. I just dont trust dealers period.

    Thanks for the reply.
Right now I have a Boss (Toytec) Suspension Lift and Toyo A/T 285/75/16 tires and a BakfipMX4 Tonneau Cover on my 2019 Tacoma Off Road. I'm thinking of going with a rear steel bumper with a swing out for extra tire. And maybe a Tacomabeast kickout rock sliders to be able to jack truck up from the sliders with a high lift jack. BUT , this is after I get some experienced advice. I really hope to meet up with local Tacoma Fans in my area to hash over ideas.

I’ve always had good luck at Thompson Toyota in Doylestown , most of the techs have been there for years and the service manager actually used to run Team Toyota’s service dept . They always have been straight shooters with me , I’ve been taking my Toyota trucks there for service since 1995... just my experience .

Thanks , I did hear someone say that they were decent awhile back. Appreciate the help from everyone. I'm looking for Toyota Techs that are good for the warranty stuff.
I have to get the fuel pump fixed from that recent recall on Jan. 13th and maybe I will take it there. Thanks again
