For the 5.29 beta, is the shifting for 2-3 still really short like on the 4.88 beta?

Like all of us here waiting on 2.0 to drop, soon is the best answer we can get. It is a very complex ecu and there are multiple ecu versions across the model years, each with slightly different coding. This requires Mat (OVTune) to write multiple versions of the tune, this obviously takes time,he just recently got a data dump from the 2020 ecu and is still sorting through the code on that. Hang on and try to be patient the wait will be worth it.

I'm a 2016 on 04b04. I flashed back to 1.05.1 because I wanted the 93 Performance tune back. I'm getting the occasional surge when sitting at a stop but it's not huge or anything. Normal pressure on the brake at a stop light keeps it still. Didn't have it on the two 2.0's I ran. Hope this helps.

Y’all must have a cache of tunes downloaded from the past. For some reason I can’t seem to download a single tune from the flash manager. Every tune possible gives me error downloading code. Betas are the only things I can physically download.

Ok, but did you download them previously or can you physically go into flash manager and download them right now?

I just got the same error attempting to download 2019 AT tunes only. Maybe the 2019 ATs are off line for some reason.

2019 tunes should have been taken offline, at least that’s what I recall Mat saying he would be doing due to the Break Override Malfunction errors. Except for the 2.0 beta

1.05 is your only option until 2.0 final. The betas are 04B04 only.

2019 sport double cab 4x4, 04b31 (i believe) 2.0 beta performance tune, running non eth 91 octane fuel. have had this in since just before christmas. i played with 1.05 (had the low end studdering) updated to 1.05.1 (tip in was too aggressive, for me). settled on the Beta tune (the quick 3rd, 4th gear change irritates me, and i would like it to hold 5th and or 6th, without downshifting in cruise all the time but, good overall update to the stock tune for sure). here in Michigan, i warm my truck up, very well before moving it. i have noted surging issues, when i do not let it fully warm up. not massive, going to cause a wreck surging but, enough, you need to be aware to cover the brake well. thanks for all you do Mat. patiently waiting for 2.0 final. Just remember, radar cruse control reverts the truck back to stock tune when active, hence it not holding gears.
