I have been looking for a set of those. I can tell you that 4th Gen 4Runner visors do not work.

Installed my new rear differential, all that is left is to add gear oil, bleed brakes and break them in.

So one of my HIDs (miramoto h1s) went from a bluish color (6k) to purple. Im assuming its going out right? Is it the bulb or the ballast?

Probably the gases are saturated with whatever blows off the anode when they're on. Usually just a sign of a bad bulb, when a ballast goes bad they don't come on or they flicker

    Probably the bulb,

The ballast usually just goes out like a switch.

Keep a spare of both in the tool box

Shitty HIDs get more purple as they age.
(It’s probably obvious how I feel about HIDs)

I don't like em at all. Most projectors are annoying. Cutoffs are never aimed great even on OEM applications, fancy cars with self leveling ones are the best.

I lucked out and grabbed these off a 2002, same year as my truck and same color. Notice the missing dome light? I also grabbed the map lights/rear view mirror out of the same truck and found they do not have the "Door" open ON option and only separate map lights. So I am also in the club of buying stuff that dont work! Well it worked, but not how I had hoped.
    20200130_115354.jpg

Seems some other models had the door light switch in the center.. these did not since it was an extra cab that had a center dome light as well. Guess I got hasty back there, but oh well these were heavier anyhow and I dont need extra weight slowing down my 4 banger. At least the mirror itself was nicer than mine, and I swapped it over.. today!!

Hope you find what you are looking for, if all goes well I may strike the ultimate rarest of the rare and most sought after of all charcoal unicorn Tacoma parts.. yes I am indeed talking about S-Runner bucket seats here fellers!!!!!!! These are the actual ones I am looking at, good heavens I am more excited than any Christmas time EVER!!

Wish me luck and may the Tacoma gods smile upon us all! :fingerscrossed:

Good call! I am getting ready to head out, and wondering what else to grab from this rare machine.. I do have a nifty center console that is going to go great with them seats though, all cleaned up and ready to go:
    20200203_131052.jpg

Think I will grab the front and rear sway bars too for some S-runner esque handling, I'm guessing the Tokico shocks would be too old to really work for me. Not sure if the coil and/or leaf springs are different from a 2wd v-6, but I might get those too or at least the fronts to help correct the oversteer this truck displays in the "spirited" turns.

I have a tilt column as well, but maybe the leather steering wheel will be coming home with me if it is nice enough. Oh yeah, wondering about the chrome exhaust tip too now! Too bad the fender flares are for stepside and one front is trashed, suppose I may ask how much for one flare while I'm there too, why not?!

get those seats while you can. Hope the price is reasonable. I had to search car part.com and found mine at a junkyard in New Hampshire from a 02 DC Limited. Paid $200 for the seats and another $250 in freight to get them shipped to my dealership. Some of the Best money spent on my truck
