Somebody to a hit to their wallet. Was probably used as a commuter vehicle by the GM of the dealership for a short while. Or taken on a ski trip, etc. by a management employee. Like you said, you will never know the truth.

Just some 35% tint to match the rears and some 285/70/17 Falkens…
Big factors in price of a TRD OffRoad: 1) Is it a manual tranny? 2) Is it a TRD OffRoad PREMIUM?

The auto tranny is a huge expense as is the Premium package. It can easily go from $35K to $45K before even getting into a TRD Pro...just a thought.

Depends. I traded my 19 with 6k miles and 6 months in for $35k (paid $37k for it new and only $233 in taxes) so didnt lose too much. But ya with the hike in price on the 2020's I wonder what trade in value looks like now and every scenario is different, usually you're gonna get hosed first year or two.

Yeah demo or something, they gave me a new Tundra with 157 miles ( already been driven. Phone charger, drink cup in it) while they buffed a defect out of mine.
Prob let sales manger put some miles on it then sell it.

    Silver Sky metallic
    Basic tech package (770.00)
All weather floor mats and door sill protectors (248.00)

    MSRP of 39,322.00
Final OTD price with TTL: 37,200.00

I worked a couple of the local dealerships for a while and feel as though I got a fairly good deal on this one. They were trying to get me to bite on the same basic truck that had a few very small cosmetic flaws (basic battle wounds from a handful of careless porters and test drivers). I noticed the same truck with only 4 miles and it was hot off the truck! I said "that one"! It also had the TRD Tow receiver D-ring and with locking pin that they didn't bother to remove, so... bonus! My previous ride is a 2005 single cab pre-runner with the 2.7l and the 5 speed. Only other vehicle I've ever purchased new. I figured that after 15 years of a standard cab 2wd, at almost 37yo I was ready for something 4x4 and a bit more roomy. Still though, I LOVE my 05. I hope the new one can fill those shoes!

Also, this is my 4th toyota truck. I almost didn't go yota again but I feel like being a toyota truck owner is like being in the mob, once you're in, you're in!

I've been looking at TRD OR SBDC MT w/ nothing but LED lights.

I filled out Costco's web form and a dealer reached out offering $32,200 on an MSRP of $37,200 ($3,900 discount + $1,000 rebate) which seems like ~13.5%

Another dealership has one listed online for $32,500 (MSRP $36,900) so ~12.0%

Both seem like pretty decent deals based on what I've seen in this thread, I wonder if the lack of packages/options affects the % off MSRP

Agree. 13.5% off MSRP is a killer deal.

I was offered $31,430 before fees and taxes. I don't think that was a good deal. But it was definitely a mixup because I was asking about a 4x4 SR V6 Dbl cab which I am paying $30,500 before taxes and fees. Just waiting for the dealer to get it delivered in the next week or so. I do think that is a good deal. About 9.5% off of MSRP.

Purchased a 2020 TRD Sport 4x4 (Midnight Black) a few days ago. I got it for $37,800 OTD in Cali.

Purchased TRD Off Road with Technology package, Premium Package, LED package, and AW floor mats. MSRP of $45,000, they gave me the truck for $40k flat plus gave me $6k more than KBB for my Chevy Colorado. I drove off the lot for $18k.

    Edit: It’s a DCSB 4x4

^^THIS^^ Is why I now have a PRO. Originally wanted a Off Road w/ leather LED's etc., for just about the same money you could get a Pro. + my wife was in love with the scoop.

True if you’re paying MSRP for either. I paid $41k for my fully loaded OR with options (msrp was just over $45k). Pretty sure 2020 TRD Pro’s are not going for more than 3-4% off MSRP if you’re lucky at this point in the year.

Yep. My dealership only had a few on the lot and it would not have been close to the same discount.
