Excellent. Maybe I can find some low miles ones and throw an AAL in there. Hmm. Thanks for the info.

Mine is off a Ranger too. I actually did some mods to push the cap forward an inch. Havent posted those pics yet either.

Yeah, and I wanted an aluminum one. They're lighter.

Family member did all the legwork. Knowing I sold the other one and wasn't too pleased about not having a wheeling vehicle.

Haha. Nice. If you get around to posting those modifications it would be much appreciated. I was thinking about doing something with the back hatch, but haven't gotten around to it. Maybe when I take it off to finish painting.

Yeah it looks fiberglass to me, they're usually curvier while aluminum is more flat planels and simple curves. I don't think the weight difference is huge at the size of our beds, but I'll save every ounce I can.

If you do use the long Pro Comp AAL as I did, you will have to cut/grind off the front factory retainer and use the ones supplied in the kit. I just removed the plastic insulators from the OEM brackets and reused them with the supplied ones.

the only good thing is there is minimal snowcover in my area, like only a couple inches, last year there was over a couple feet all at once gone

That is good. I started today on snowy, unplowed roads, but by the time I headed home, everything was melting into a muddy slop. Blech.

I think it'll depend on how much rain we see upstream. If we get a couple of solid storms through the dakotas and nebraska, its gonna be time to swim. Again.

Ahh! I have barn doors on the back of mine. But I ended up modifying the front and back to make up the 2" difference.

It would clean up well I'm sure but reconciling the 2" difference might be tricky on that style roof

Yeah, it's gotta have two of the three factors in place: price, condition, and what it's meant to go on. That one has one of those three, the price is right. If it was nice shape and that price, might go look at it. If one pops up with that 'perfect trifecta' of all three of those factors in place, I'm walking off the job to get it :D

Was trying to see what the shell is from based off of other stuff he's selling. Like his ad for those wheels. But just says fits jeep and trucks.
Lmao no wonder he hasn't sold anything and a cheap price too
