It took a bit but someone in this thread has some informed input.

Same with you @therealprotaco . And you are right. It looks a lot better in person than photos. I've always received compliments about it.

My Pro also came with the "snorkle" or really the Desert Air Intake. I probably wouldn't have gotten it either except that the Pro on the lot had it installed already. It's a factory install, not a port or dealer install.

There is no blind spot. You can barely see the tube from the driver seat. There isn't any wind noise either. This is compared to an Off-Road that I drove for a week and a half.

It does actually keep the dust to a minimum. I think it helps with mud too. Imagine that collecting in the intake at the fender. It might (only might) actually do well in deep water but I'm not going to test that. It would probably flood the cab too and that's too much.

@tacoVA23 - If you like the look, go for it.

I am thinking about installing 2 snorkels on my truck. Not to brag but my truck needs the extra snorkel where I go.

The second snorkel attached to the top of the first, amiright? That's bragging rights, indeed!

Toyota snorkel is the best looking option. The aftermarket options look like wood-stoves.

Love mine, works great playing follow the leader out here in the dust bowl! It gets really bad when we play in the desert and we are stack up on each other. Even backing off a country mile doesn’t help sometimes when we’re running hot! West coast it’s a must in the desert areas. Wife hates it so I had to get it! Thanks @TX Bat
This thread got out of hand a little bit, so thanks to those who stayed on topic. Original question was if the 2020 pro snorkel would fit a 2018 TRD Sport, not what does everyone think of the look of them. Could care less what people want to do with “my” truck.

    Now just to find one.

It'll fit the '18 Sport. The fenders haven't changed. Hopefully, when you find one, it will have a template.

    Good luck!

I'm sharing what I've heard from our customers that are displeased with the TRD Pro snorkel.

This is a forum, we share things.

Got my Prinsu roof rack last week with the promo CBI had going for St. Paddy’s. TRD desert air intake came in this week and did some pre fitting before committing to cutting the fender. Like the look withe KB Voodoo bed rack, and RBP running boards.
Heretic light bar and ditch lights are on their way. Next upgrades will be a custom grill, bigger tires, and a front bumper, likely CBI.

I see you have some snow where you are too, how do you find it with the Prinsu rack in the winter and not being able to spin the intake head?

we don’t get a lot of snow here in the east coast of Virginia. I just put it on, so haven’t had to deal with the snow if/when it does come. But the head of the DAI does rotate. There are just two thumb bolts that I would loosen, rotate, and then secure.
