    Can the bolt on TRD supercharger be installed on a 1996 3.4L Tacoma? Everything I have seen so far says 1997+ Tacoma's can take the SC and 1996+ for 4Runner's. Any insights would be much appreciated? Thank you!

    That's a very good question I dont see why not it's the same 3.4 engine

    The 1996 ECU WILL NOT. Work with the supercharger.

    You have to replace it with an ECU from an 1997 or 1998 that has the same setup as yours,

    4x4, Auto,v6
    4x4, 5speed v6
