not for work, I’m actually headed over to Anthony‘s house in New Jersey to fix the clutch on my truck in his shop.

literally the first time in like six months that I’ve had any time or ability to work on it.

I fully intend to do another cross-country trip this spring and there are certain items that need to be addressed prior to that in order to ensure he is successful journey.

 

Time is a problem for any maintenance work. I'm either helping someone else or doing something on the house or traveling and I finally changed the factory spark plugs at almost 88000 miles that I planned to swap out at 50000.
Someday I'll tell you about my 6 week cross country trip with the family. Almost like Chevy Chases family vacation movie.

 

Was a nice 10° this morning at 12:30am, sitting about 15° now. Glad I don't have to be anywhere in the truck, more than likely it would refuse to run right again like it did the last time it was this cold... Bring on spring!

 

We were out of the house by 6:30 - temp was 2 deg F - and crewed a hot air balloon flight. We got almost all of the other crew members some flight time. Lynn and I chased in the new Tacoma. Loved it!!

Sandra is currently deep cleaning the house! She even washed the dogs!

Track some dirt in to distract her, then make a run for the back door

 

I need to do some serious cleaning here myself. Earlier I went down to the basement to start to clean up a little bit, but that's where the beer fridge is and decided the hell with it, grabbed a beer and fired up the old Hitachi stereo instead. Lazy ass Saturday for sure. Didn't want to but I had to throw on pants to go to the store real quick, dammit! I know I should be more productive, but cabin fever's settin in...

 

Would anybody happen to have the needle bearing puller tool from ECGS and willing to loan it out? Im re-doing my lift in a few weeks and want to swap the new bushing in while everything is apart. Id gladly pay shipping both ways.

Soo, got the real ID underway. I arrived 45 mins. before they opened. I figured there would already people standing in line, but I was the first one. Once I started waiting, about 8 other people got out of their cars and stood behind me. The Bensalem location opened 0830 on the dot. I was #i001! I was called up right away, 12 mins to scan and fill out docs. Waited 5 mins for photo-done in 30 mins. Don't ask me why if you show up at 1200 it should take 4hours to get the same thing done anywhere else! DMV needs to be shaken up a bit.
Don't wait until the last minute to get this done. You need to have one by October, I think.

The sad part I can`t prove I am a US citizen yet they won`t let me be an Illegal and get all the benefits .

Every time I try to get a Birth Certificate pay the fees I get a letter back in Lawyer Government Speak saying no such records can be found .

Paying taxes all these years has no bearing on being a citizen go figure.
