Actually they are quite easy, not too many differences and tons of available parts.

Exactly. Several years ago I started buying parts that I think could be possibly hard to come by in the future or get expensive and stash them away, really wish I had done it on a few more items though.

 

Was there such a thing a 1992-1993 V8 Fox Body with an open rear?

 

No I don't think so, I believe when they started putting the 8.8 in 1986 they were all posi. Mine had optional 3.08 gears instead of the freeway 2.73's but I yanked it and put in 3.55's.

 

On the flip side, could one get a 4-cylinder Fox Body with a posi in 1987-1993?

 

I doubt it but not sure, don't think they had posi 7.5".

I am slipping on my car, have never missed changing the oil before winter before but still haven't got around to it yet, winter will be over before I get it done, lol.

 

How many miles has it been? Do you use full synthetic?

 

I usually use semi-synthetic and do 2 changes per year, the one before winter is just so its clean and not acidic for storage.

 

And also, does your car have leather seats?

 

Yes it does, grey leather inside. I also like to start my car once a month over the winter and let it get up to operating temperature, running late on that too cause its been almost 2 months.

 

Also 2 tone paint.

I was reading a thread on here last night about somewhere in California making it illegal to work on your own car. That just seems crazy, how do they determine what household tools are as I bet my definition differs from theirs.

 

Another reason to hate California!
