Installed the TacoGarage DMM today for my phone and Anytone ham radio. Mount is super secure. It's a great product! Details in the DMM thread.

After installing the tailgate lock you'll wonder why you didn't do it the 1st week you owned the Taco. I wish I had done mine that way and before I got the truck oiled for rust protection.

Did you have to cut the plastic on the bumper? This is what I'm thinking about doing.

Yes. Looked at a few install guides and a lot of pictures. Taped it off, and cut it with a 4-1/2 angle grinder. I took my sweet time laying the tape down just right.

    B4 and after cutting:

Technically... This was yesterday. I got the TRD Pro All-Weather mats. Got them on a deal. Normally they are about $160.

They are thinner than the Weathertech mats that I put in but I wanted these. They cover more area. I like the look of them. We'll see how they hold up.

Thanks. All of the bumpers I have looked at require cutting. Oh well Not a problem. I was only thinking about removing it if I decide to sell this truck.

Who am I kidding? I had my last truck for 18+ years and I plan on having this one for about the same amount of time.

I really like the look of the SSO slimline and I think I will go with that.

I may be interested, but did you cut the horn wire to lengthen it?

Did you have to drill the hole for your stock tie down bigger? I remember mine not fitting for some reason but I could be wrong

I really have been tempted to get a borla exhaust since I had one on my previous truck, but want to make sure it doesn’t sound like a flowmaster. Can you post a video/sound clip?

Probably ought to get mine out from under the truck and throw it in the bed this spring.
