Is all it took for toyota dealer to order my TSB springs

 

with all those mods they ordered you an aal? you've had to have done something to the rear otherwise that front end would look weird...

 

My dealer did the same thing. They just said "initial this, which says we took it into the shop and tested it, and found that you need new leaf springs". I was in and out in 5 minutes.

 

He's got the 4.5" RCD up front, which I believe comes with a 4" block in the back.

 

damn and i cant even get them to give me a new radiator cap because the lining or seal on the old one was ruined lol

that was kinda a joke because after arguing they did end up giving it to me

 

the key is finding a dealer that has performed the leaf spring TSB before. That way they are aware it's a known issue and they won't give you any trouble.

 

100% right i searched the dealer list on here an found one,an then asked for that service adviser,piece of cake
an yes 4 IN block in back an with the moded front lift at 5.5 i sit like a desert prerunner gettin ready to jump, they didnt even question lift, [YA THE FIRST TIME, DUMB ASSES]

 

Cool! It took me about 5 minutes to describe the problem and 3 phone calls to read the TSB to them before they agreed to do mine.

Then 6 hours for them to F*** ME
After springs came in ,i droped it off 6 hrs later a call saying your truck is modified,an we wont perform the TSB, know shit it was modified when you looked at it the first time,AN APPROVED IT,BUNCH OF B.S

mine gave me a hard time when i tried to get my done the first time...since the 09s werent included in the tsb yet he tried to tell me that they were fixed in the 09s..i told him, well a part number is a part number..he kept denying, so when the tsb was finally revised to cover the 09s, i went back, didnt say anything and just handed him a printed copy of the tsb...i was gone with the springs on order in less than 5 mins

I got a dealer near me to order my springs today and they didn't even ask to see my truck ( mine is totally stock-no lift). I explained to them that it was retarded that I had to prove to them I needed the new springs and that it would cost me time and money to load my bed up and drive half an hour to the dealer. They said they would call to set up a time to do the install when the parts showed up.

 

I gathered that much.

So then which one did you go to?
