1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

So it doesn't look like techstream can actually perform a zero point calibration. Guess I need to do it manually. Found a video on youtube that steps thru the process.

Ahah!! Finally got a code for the VSC/TRAC. C1336 for re-doing the zero point calibration. Had to turn the engine on and then put it in D/R and move it back and forth a little for the code to pop.

 

So what toyota parts site are we all using now for maximum savings. someone tried to pry my crank gear off at one point and all the sensor teeth are bent and one snapped off when I was putting the belt on.

I got my LBJs, tie rods and a few other oem things cheapest from Toyotapartsdeal.com...its one of those conglomerate sites though so if you have a problem with your order I hear they can be difficult to deal with. I wouldn't know though, everything I've ordered was correct and came quick

 

Finally! Got that shit sorted out. VSC lights are off and stay off now after doing the manual zero point bullshit. I hate computers...

I know, it looks like they tried to remove it with a screwdriver or something. I heard a ting noise when putting the belt on and low and behold one is missing and the others are visibly bent and cracking. I wonder if the timing was slightly off.
