So I’m having pretty bad vibration on my truck. I’ve noticed that it starts at about 30 mph and continues until I let go of the throttle, when I get back on it, it fells normal. It feels like it’s coming from the front passenger side but I checked all my ball joints and bushings and they seem fine. Ujoints seems fine as well but the center herring does have slight play as it should. After driving it like this for a week I started to notice it does it more after it shifts to 3 or 4 gear at about 30 mph but doesn’t do it if I give it lots of throttle. Any advise on what else I could check? I have a drain fill tomorrow for my transmission, I don’t know if that will help it at all. 2012 144k miles 4x4

Does it go away if you put it in 4x4?

I haven’t tried it since I just drive in pavement. Could it cause it?

Weird, I had the same problem but mine was a u-joint. Are you 100% on ur u-joints? Mine seemed fine when I checked it out, I just guessed and replaced one and it fixed it lol

TnShooter that’s very interesting, I’m a give it a try and drive it in 4x4 to see if it still does it.
Jessel yeah I checked them all and actually replaced one about a year ago due to vibration. They all seem fine now.

Just vibrations, no noise? Do you feel it more in the steering wheel or in your seat?

Ryfox0276 I fell it on my seat not in the steering wheel. When it starts it fells like the whole truck shakes.
Michael I’ll check my wheels and tires but last time I have a tire issue it did it all the time not only at a specific speed.

I was thinking tires too but you'd feel that more in the wheel. As said above, my next guess would be your u joints.

just drive in a straight line you won’t damage anything testing it for a minute or two.

I have the front diff bearing vibe and it can definitely be felt in the steering wheel. Goes away in 4hi. it’s also most noticeable on the first drive of the day.
