I don’t think I’ve ever seen a burnt trans thread. I’m sure they’re out there though.

I’ve had my fluid temp light come on twice due to ignorance, still going strong at 285k

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

Ok... so you add a crawl box... to make the MT not suck as much. Right on

    Seriously?

It's not like you hear about cooked A340Fs all the time. However, I do hear about people cooking their clutches quite often.

You guys see that sweet, gold 1st gen in the banner? Yeah, it's a 5 speed. :p

But really, this argument is pointless.

Stalling is just clutch control. Also regearing helps a lot. Just like on an auto it helps. With 5.29s I rarely ever get stalled. Sucker just goes over shit.

Wheel going wise...I....don't see how that matters what tranny you have..

Replacing a burned up tranny, torque converter, or flexplate also sucks. Fixing to do that myself because my tranny is slipping badly.

    Talk about stirring the pot.

    Auto hubs /debate.

I'll let the manual hub guys tell me how their weaker CVs are superior while we're stopping and waiting for them to engage their stupid hubs. :stirthepot:

Did I do that right? :D

    Here's a novel idea...

    Wait for it...

You lock your hubs when you air down... and unlock them when you air back up.
