The 98 model is the BEST year. It had all of the Phase II enhancements without the NATS Immobilizer system that came along in 1999.

For NATS, you need to get a spare chip key made and use it. Keep the original master in a safe place. Its a lot like the key and Immobilizer system on the 1999 LX470.
