Anyone know a good place to get the TRD Pro Rigid Industries fog lights for the 3rd Gen Taco? Like the best place with the best lowest price? I know dealerships won't sell them unless you actually own a Pro.

I bought mine at my local Toyota dealership. They didn’t ask anything about owning a pro. They did ask for the 2018-19 pro grille and fox pro shocks however.

Alibaba.com about $100 to your door, been using them for 6 months, no issues and as bright as my neighbors Pro.

Except they are fake. Idc how bright they are, At the end of the day they are a knockoff. I see this crap all the time in the archery industry. Chinese companies ripping off American designs. I’m sure they work and are bright but it’s a moral and principle thing for me.

I don't understand why someone would buy the fake pro lights for 100 bucks, when you can buy the tundra and new Tacoma led fog lights for the same price, from the dealer. And it's a genuine part with a genuine warranty.

    Then don't buy
Them, the real ones are probably made right there where these are made. People bash this but don't say shit about the fake grills.

I don’t think they’re that great. A lot of people have had problems with them fogging up and having moisture in them. There are better options for the same price.

No issues with mine or on my other Tacoma. I just don't see why the real Rigid Industries lights are so damn expensive when in reality they are that great of a light. I was wanting the look and for $100 and they work great, I will same my money for something else.

Its possible, but I thought I’ve read Rigids are produced in U.S. And plenty of people say it about any clone or copy. The idea is, the higher price is paying for the R&D in creating the product, and to fund the same for new products. It’s the same in every industry. It bothers some people who fear it limits innovation, other people don’t care. Luckily you live somewhere that allows you the freedom to choose

They are designed in the US and made probably in China. These light look identical on the inside too. Even the covers have the Toyota part number on it. Lots of parts are made for these trucks for Toyota and are made in China, all these aftermarket wheels are made there too. Its when they are marked clone or fake that's when people get there panties all twisted. If you don't like it, do buy them is what I say and I could give two shots if someone doesn't like it. That's my right! This isn't aimed at you, just speaking in general but people need to realize that their thoughts and comments are either taken the wrong way or just in one ear and out the other. I don't bitch if someone buys an OEM parts or a knock off part. Hell I'm an OEM guy all the way but when the lights look good, performs well I will try it. I don't get all bent when everyone is buying a Chinese pro grill.

Is it something I said? I was pretty sure I was just answering questions. I don’t care what you buy. There is a reason knock offs are cheaper, and it’s not just because the original manufacturer is greedy. Beyond the R&D costs, They usually use cheaper materials, cheaper labor, and don’t care about quality control. I said USUALLY. That doesn’t mean yours aren’t the exact same, made in the same factory. People can do their own research. And these forums are a place to do that. So when you post “fakes” for $100, and don’t mention they are “fakes” or “clones” then you have to expect someone to follow your post with that info. You said your part about the look and quality, someone else pointed out they aren’t OEM. The person wanting the lights can use that info and further research to determine what is best for them. No reason to worry about it further.

Rigid’s lights are not made in China. This has been covered many times in many threads and I’m not sure why people continue to spread this misinformation. Here is the OEM Pro box:

Here is a box of Rigid 360s:

@ronsenpai10 Check out the thread below, it contains a bunch of different fog options. You’ll see that the Rigid TRD Pro fogs are not that great in output compared to other options available, check out the output comparison chart in the original post. At the top of that thread there are links to newer product releases. Worth noting are the Diode Dynamics SS3, the Sports have almost 2x the output intensity of the TRD Pro fogs and the SS3 Pros have about 2.5x the output intensity.

Designed in USA per rigid industries but mad made outside, that's Toyota labels. look at RI web site. I can't see the difference in mine versus my neighbors Pro. But for $100 who cares, get what you want, pay what you want and enjoy.
