Hey y’all I found my dog this AM by the Mormon temple out on the west end! He had been out for 1 week and 12 hours!

Another good run with Frontier 4 wheeler offroad club out of Helena. Only 1 taco was there but it was a good mix of different rigs. Snow was pretty deep and got stuck 3 times. 3 other rigs lost a bead.

 

Thanks for co down it was good to see you. When I managed to get stuck it was good of you to pull me out. You know I've been smack talking to the jeeps I even earned middle finger today when I didn't get stuck.

Today is the first time got stuck with the group. All in all the Tacoma did awesome and surprised everyone especially me.

 

No worries that's what wheeling is about. Haha I love given jeepers crap, its all in good fun. I appreciate you letting me borrow your radio. I need to invest in a good recovery strap now.

 

Thanks to 90yota for coming down. It was a great day in Montana. snow was deep enough to make us work for every inch and try an test skills and equipment.

 

I was definitely smack talking the jeeps. I even earned a birdie finger from Daryl when he told me to get off the trail and go down and turn around. I did and also got to pull him out at least 3 times. You know he hated to ask me for a pull. I did need a pull but I pulled out a jeep with bigger tires at least 3 times first. I'm rolling on 31.5 inch tires I'm by no means the baddest in the bunch.

No problem on the radio the recovery strap is worth every penny get one.

Get your ham license you won't regret that its another tool in the box. Besides its fun.

Awe come on it's fun. It would be great to meet you. At Frontier 4×4 we have 1 hard rule everyone makes it home. We had a guy today still running temporary license plates on his jeep. He has never wheeled in snow. By the end he was doing great. I'll admit stealing some air from his tires because he was not going as good as he should.

 

I appreciate the invite, I am not worried about getting stuck,but I don't do well in the cold and only go out when I have to. Makes hunting interesting and I try and keep my exposure down to a minimum and won't go if it is below freezing Google Raynauds disease and you will have a better understanding...

 

Fair enough I'm allergic to cold I get hives when cold I've yet to have anaphylaxis from this but I do carry an EpiPen just in case.
My condition is not an issue as long as I properly dress and not let skin get cold.

Maybe when it warms you can join us for some wheeling.

Docs initially diagnosed it as nerve damage until the skin on three of my fingertips died,hardened and peeled off. It was one of the most painful things I have ever dealt with.

 

Didn't even know that was real. You boys need to move south.

 

Unless they have heat urticaria too! I’d blame MT (with all these skin conditions) but mine was a present from Iraq pollution. lol
