Cool, I need a detail soon. I had mine detailed when I first got it and nothing since in the past 6 years.

i havent actually washed mine in like 6 months. Just sprayed it down with the pressure washer a couple of times.

 

I saw that too. Still sucks though you shouldn’t have to deal with that at 200+ a wheel. UNLESS they were blemished wheels and he got them at a discount.

 

i ordered 5, 3 were lighter 2 were darker. they sent me 2 more "matching" wheels, 1 was lighter and 1 was darker.

I kept the 4 matching lighter ones and sent back the 3 darker ones. I was told they used 2 different companies to paint their wheels.

 

Hmm, I wonder if that’s on all colors or maybe just the stealth blue.

 

Likely just the special coatings. It's pretty easy to get gunmetal or black to match, but gold and fancy blue are a bit harder.

 

I've havent heard of color issues since the shipment that Zacs order came from. I dont follow it closely since I have got my SCS wheels back at the same time.

 

We've had maybe 3 or 4 similar issues in total after 10yrs of selling tens of thousands of wheels. I like to think that's a pretty good track record overall, but there's going to be some that won't be impressed .
