Ok guys I did search this and they're are a few threads on this. But most have very little information or are several years old.
Here's the story. I got a 2020 Pro on the way and want to add a more aggressive set of tires to the stock Pro rims. No mud terrains just all terrains or maybe a hybrid. Size probably 265/75/16. Or 285/75/16 if they will fit as I hear stories both ways. I've narrowed it down to several candidate tires. Truck will be 95% Mall Crawler.
I'll go ahead and answer the question before it's asked. Why did I spend the extra money on the Pro just to Mall crawl? Answer. $3500 off MSRP incl TTL and because I wanted to.

    Preferred requirements.
Good looking aggressive tread and sidewall. But not too aggressive. No MT's
Descent ride. E or F load rating not needed.
No loud road noise. Little hum ok.
    < 50-55 lb preferred.
    Tires that will actually balance.
    Tread life around 50K

Poll's open...Comments welcome. Like I had to ask.

The wildpeaks are for best for mall crawling.

There's probably a disconnect between the pro and then the mall crawling pro. May want to update your title.

I'd say you need to decide what tire size you want to run for sure. A lot of these tires are only offered in E load with 265. Where you can choose between C or E in the 285 flavor. I currently run KO2 in 265 E load and they are probably a bit firmer than they need to be. When I get my 3rd gen Taco this year I will be putting on KO2's in 285/70R17 C load for both ride comfort and weight savings. Fyi...the KO2 in 285 C load is lighter than my current 265 in E load...

That's a nice looking set up! But probably a little more aggressive than what I want.

I really enjoy the sales emphasis on the term "Pro" these days. Just spend a little more money, and you can be a Pro at everything. Pro truck, pro tires, pro iPhone, etc...

Not ripping on anyone with Pro stuff, just ripping manufacturers for abusing the word for sales appeal.

Truthfully I did't buy the truck because it was a Pro. I bought it or actually ordered it because I loved the color. Green has always been my favorite color. I seen one here in a thread and said this is for me. Not nocking the Blue's, Cement's or any other color Pros. They just did nothing for me.
But that Green, oh so sweet IMO.

I have the KO2 now. 285/70/17's on my 2012 DCSB. Probably have 30,000 miles on them and look almost new. They are a E rated tire and do ride kind of rough.
But the main reason I'm considering other tires over the KO2's. Is they have never been able the get them balanced quite right.
They've always had a little vibration in them.

My Cooper ST Maxx (aggressive all terrain) pizza cutters have been amazing. I did a lot of research on which tires I was considering and then dug through hundreds of threads and posts to find people who may have run both the style of tires I was putting against each other.

I will only speak on my experience but I am very pleased with my tires. I was worried if the rain would cause me to slide a bit or have a problem in snow slick roads. But it performs great. Grabs the ground without issue. It is a little squirrelly with the pizza cutters at high speed when you hit a man hole cover or pot hole on pavement— but just for a quarter of a second nothing you would die from or really freak out about. I’m comfortable with it. In addition they are pretty quiet which is nice, and have deep tread too.

I've kinda had the same problem...part of me is also considering the Nitto Ridge Grappler as an alternative...
