Sure works for me. My mind is on the fish and nothing else. One of the only things that can keep my mind completely occupied for hours like that.

I just bought some metal Ts for the heater hoses. I'll go with OEM hoses for most everything to a point.

Yeah on coolant hoses I like oem as well, especially if the hose has bends. If it's just a straight hose needed, I've been fine with a quality hose like Gates, etc

CV axles from Advance. After 3 to 5 years the boots come apart. The Axle part was ok. Its just the boots suck.

OEM boot on the left compared to a new Advance CV axle boot on the right. The OEMs don't tear apart.

wtf is that stuff lol, looks like some kind of drug paraphernalia

I haven't done a trail cv swap in awhile but yeah I think 45 min is doable as long as it's not on a steep hill or something lol. Less with an extra pair of hands

The time I did it in the snow with help from a friend we did it in under 45

    Bet

put it in 4lo and start doing donuts in the street

Thats been my experience with aftermarket axles. The axle itself has never failed me it's always the cheap ass boots they use that break

put in an inquiry with Alcan for a quote. I got one last year but that was when I was running my RTT full time and I won't need that now. Getting sick of the Expos and the whack rear alignment they give me probably cause they're bent. If I'm going to take them off to look I'm just going to put a legit set of springs on once and for all

So I'm working today, but have tomorrow and the next day off.

Contemplating driving down HWY1 for a few hours just to drive up through some BLM just to have a camp fire.

My brother works tomorrow so I may be going alone.

Have you considered Chevy 63" springs?

When I considered doing a rear shock relocation, the idea of the chevy leaf pack always comes to mind.

They offer kits where you can use the factory shackle mounting point, and just weld a new leaf pack hangar 11" forward of the stock one.
