Depends on the brand of tire. The Bfgs have some of the best looking lettering imo.

So those are 285s? Any additional lift added?

The photo with the mud flaps back on the front are 285’s. The other two shots are 295’s and I hated them. 88 Rotors installed a 1/2” shim up front and 1” add a leaf to rear. I wanted to keep my stock control arms so that’s as much as they recommended for front. Remember, I’m running 85+ mph on FWYs all the time getting to my play areas. It’s gotta run great for hours on the fwy and not be a dog at 5k rpms to keep up in traffic. I have a Raptor, a ZR2 and Z71 Colorado and I STILL love this damn snorkel the most! Just love this toy! Wife hates the snorkel so I love it even more! Hahahaha!

Thanks man. I feel the same about white lettering. It works on some trucks, like yours it fits perfectly.

No trip, that is my driveway. I'm tucked away in the woods. I feel you, I can't do desert and dry climates anymore.

I wonder if they are 4lbs lighter because they are 16s instead of 17s. Smaller wheel, smaller weight?

No no no, the 2020 TRD Pro 16” rims are 4.188 lbs lighter EACH compared to the 16” rims on the 2019 TRD Pro rims. That’s a BIG difference

Still like my snorkel more than any of them now that I changed from 295’s to 285’s! C0616D32-CDA5-4935-A043-63854682DD5C.jpg

Driveway! I know snow gets tiring month after month, I grew up in Wisconsin. But MAN I miss it! California SUCKS! This state is soooo messed up man! Love your setup, looks good. Flip one of those tires around and let’s see those whites. Should only take you about a full day.... hahaha. Shit, you may end up leaving those old school whites on the outs!

Is Toyota selling this wheel without the VIN of a TRD Pro? Or do they hassle you like they tend to if you order the Pro grille? Just curious because I have aftermarket wheels a like better aesthetically but the handling is reduced so I'm thinking maybe I want to go back to an OEM wheel

Correct. MINUS20 code saves 20% off shipping. They don't have the wheels showing on the site yet, you have to copy and paste the part numbers in the search box to bring it up on the site.

I had 88 Rotors in El Monte CA do it. They installed their own spacer and leaf set up but there are several out there that work just as good. Go to YouTube and check out all their videos. You will find a truck already done like what you want, I guarantee it. Sooooo many videos to look at. You’ll see what works and how it looks.

I doubt anyone makes a forged wheel with an offset close to Tacoma OEM wheels or maybe I'd consider it. That's the only reason I'm looking at these to potentially get away from my 0mm offset aftermarket wheels.

So you just posted don't buy Reps in the 2020 PRO wheel reps thread, suggesting to buy either OEM or forged. Now you come to the OEM thread and suggest not to buy OEM :notsure:
