Had a pretty good day off! Went for a ride in Tuskegee National Forest and then went on hike at Chewacla State Park.

Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road is pretty active on the forum. But they are in California I believe so their hours are different. Also they take almost all holidays and weekends off.

Any of you fellow Alabamians know a shop that knows about the ECGS bushing? I need to do this but don’t feel confident doing it myself. Thanks

I’ve got the needle bearing vibration on the drivers side after my lift. Need to replace that with the ECGS bushing

 

You wouldnt happen to be the gentleman i chatted with at DG would ya?

 

No sir, but I’ve been known to hit the DG at times

 

@cubie heres the pics. Did some cosmetic damage to winch solenoid when installing bumper back on truck but ah well. Switch took a big hit and is now loose but it’s still connected and works so no harm for now.

Curious now though if it’s safe to leave the switch on all the time or will it cause battery drain problems even if winch isn’t used. Left on last night and all day today and truck still starts though after being not driven at all since install.

 

Looks good! I don't know much about winches, but why would you leave the switch on?

 

So I don’t have to pop hood to turn on when it’s needed . If leaving it on 24/7 is a problem then next weekend dropping bumper to rewire the winch to allow me to run a switch in the cab.

 

I don't about you, but I hate installing something and then having to uninstall it! lol Hope you get it worked out.
