    That sucks homie. Especially for you, because I know how well you take care of that taco. And it's not an unreasonable expectation that they should be able to dismount and mount tires without thrashing the powder coating. Dude just didn't care.

    I came in at 5 o'clock, so I get it that he wanted to get done and go home. But this is inexcusable. I believe every tire machine has a plastic piece that can be used to protect the wheel while the tire is being taken off. I hate to be that guy, but looks like tomorrow Ill have to be that guy.

    I believe you're absolutely correct. And don't worry you're not being that guy. If they start being fickle, ask him straight up, 'Is it unreasonable for me to expect that my wheels come out of a tire install without being damaged?' and if they're like 'well you know sometimes stuff happens yada yada', that's when you give him the 'and that's exactly why your business is insured'.
    You're only that guy if what you expect is unreasonable. You were absolutely in the right to expect no wheel damage from a tire install. First time they installed the tires, all went smooth.

    Hi Trails

    I'll refrain from being specific since it could net me a ban but, they're your typical Santa Cruz non-gmo, organic, premier Wholefoods customer type.

    They're an "outdoors" type couple.

    @Kwikvette and other vets

    My cousin is getting deployed and another cousin asked me to send a pic of me holding a note so she can make a scrapbook for him.

    What kind of things would you want to hear from a cousin who you aren't particularly close with?

    It's a tough call, but since you're asking me for my opinion, and it was my cousin doing this hmm...

    I'd probably put something witty, but along the lines of "what would you like" kind of thing when it comes to care packages. I know it's not saying much, or getting personal, but it's sort of a way to establish some kind of communication with said cousin and let him know you're willing to be supportive.

    The one thing that brought morale more than anything while being deployed was something that came from "home".

    I had my own mom sending me cigarettes and bacon jerky, and you have no idea how happy that shit made me.
