    Yeah that's a little excessive. I just like to make sure the 20 inches on my tape is the same 20 the table saw will cut.

    I do the same. I try to use the same folding ruler on the table saw. The loose end on a tape measure just kills me.

    Yep. Threw a tape away because I dropped it and bent the hook. It never measured the same twice after that.

    I go online or a local shop. We also don’t have the selection here that the east coast and other places tend to have from a mill or cut down tree.

    Recently got their M12 series of drivers and drills. They are better than the Dewalt equivalent by far. They are just the right size for woodworking. I've slowly been adding to them when the HD has free battery with tool sales as well.

    The 4.0 battery is a good buy for the more power hungry tools. I actually used my M12s for dish (Directv) installs and it even ran 1/2 lag bolts into rafters just fine. Of course the M18 will go a little deeper, but wasn’t enough to warrant carrying the heavier tool. They are a great set. I have a lot of identical M12 and M18 tools.
