I bought a 2006 regular cab 2.7L 4wd with 180k maintained miles all reciepts of oil changes and new parts and all. I'm told by a bunch of people I made a good choice and i believed it myself in the first month. I did the timing chain and new brakes all the way around and I'm having nonstop issues with it i spend more time working on it then driving? someone please tell me what im missing the early year 2nd gens?

Now aside from 2nd gen specific stuff, what prompted you to do the timing chain?

Also, did it have issues prior to replacing the timing change, or only after?
